State troopers looking for witnesses to fatal US-23 crash in Washtenaw County

Troopers from Michigan State Police (MSP) Brighton Post responded to a deadly one-vehicle crash at US-23 north bound near M-14 (West Triple) in Washtenaw County’s Ann Arbor Township at 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018.

Initial investigation revealed that a 2006 Buick four door lost control going through the curve on wet pavement, ran off the right side of the road and overturned. The driver and sole occupant, Brooks Ingram, 24, from Oak Park, was pronounced dead at the scene. The freeway was closed for approximately four hours. MSP was assisted at the scene by Ann Arbor Township Fire Department and HVA Ambulance.

The accident remains under investigation. The Michigan State Police ask anyone who witnessed the accident to contact the MSP Brighton Post (810) 227-1051.
