This much we know: The Wendy’s at 3667 E. Grand River Ave. in Howell, located in the Grand River Plaza Shopping Center between Taco Bell and McDonald’s, is closed.

There are no signs on the building indicating whether it will re-open, and there is no information available on its website.

When we called the restaurant, a recording said “this mailbox is not accepting messages at this time.”

The Wendy’s at 1022 S. Michigan Ave. in Howell is still in operation.

  1. I once interviewed U.S. Sen. Carl Levin there back in my days as editor of the Livingston County Press and learned his family owned property in Tyrone Township.

  2. My friend works there. Her and her co-workers were all fired and the managers are transferring. That place is closed.

  3. I worked here for four years and know everyone who worked there when they closed. The company who owned the store got bought out and the new owners didn’t want to keep it due to how old the store/equipment is, how low the business is, how bad the turnover was, and the MANY, MANY health violations. Management was simply a joke and employees have been relocated to different locations. The store will not be re opening.

  4. I’m a former employee for Wendy’s on grand river, and I can say is that we shut down due to not enough business and bad equipment.
