WATCH: Go Glads! Fowlerville High School Dance Team wins its first championship ever

The Fowlerville High School Dance Team has only been in existence for six years, and the team has already claimed its first championship.

The Gladiators took first place in the jazz competition at the Coopersville High School Dance and Pom Competition on Dec. 1, giving them their first title ever. It was the team’s first competition of the season.

Fowlerville also had a great day in the hip hop competition, taking third place.

The FHS Dance Team is coached by Marissa Leonard.

Team members include Sydney Bush, Brianna Davison, Stephanie Krueger, Bekah Leonard, Lydia Luark, Aubrae Miller, Lottie Moorehouse, Lauren Murray, Nathan Redford, Marla Rose, Claire Schwarz, Gabby Shields, Coco Simons, Bre Wallner, Shelby Walter, Ava Yon and Willow Yon.

The team will be back in action this Saturday, competing at Brighton High School.
