Known for its glitz and glamour, the Annual Celebrity Holiday Fashion Show, benefiting The Arc Livingston, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a goal of raising $100,000 to empower individuals with development disabilities and their families to ensure that they as citizens are valued, and that they can participate fully in, and contribute to, the life of their community.

The event — set for 5:30-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center, 5768 E. Grand River Ave. in Howell — features media personalities like emcee Steve Garagiola, news anchor on WDIV; Livingston county business and civic leaders; and surprise guests.

The evening is a true celebration of the contribution that people of all abilities make to our community. Early-bird ticket prices are $80 per person, and sponsor opportunities are still available. To purchase tickets, or for additional information, visit or contact The Arc Livingston at (517) 546-1228.

The event brings together hundreds of supporters from the community to enjoy dinner, musical entertainment, open bar, exciting live and silent auctions, and a red-carpet experience showcasing holiday fashions by Beverly Rae’s and Brighton Tux Shop, just to name a few.

Our famous jewelry raffle, donated by Cooper & Binkley Jewelers, is a special celebration of our event’s 25th year. The grand prize, valued at $7500, is a one-of-a-kind, 18-karat white- and yellow-gold diamond necklace, featuring white and yellow diamonds, commissioned by Cooper & Binkley Jewelers from world class designer Simon G. Other prizes include an exquisite pair of diamond hoop earrings, valued at $1,900; and a gorgeous rose-gold diamond double circle bracelet, valued at $795. Tickets are available at Cooper & Binkley Jewelers, Bink & Bab’s Boutique and at The Arc Livingston office, located at 2980 Dorr Road in Brighton.

Platinum Sponsors for the Arc Celebrity Holiday Fashion Show include Citizens Insurance, Comcast, Cooper & Binkley Jewelers, Ted & Jane Von Voigtlander Foundation, Corrigan Oil, First National Bank and Sheriff Mike Murphy. Gold Sponsors are All-Weather Seal Co., Inc. and FMG Concrete Cutting. Multiple levels of sponsorship are still available.
