“Seussical the Musical” — a fun, upbeat musical that includes a cast of students from Highlander Way Middle School and Parker Middle School — is coming to the stage at Parker Middle School with performances set for May 4-6 at 6:30 p.m., with a matinee at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 6. Performances will be held at Parker Middle School’s Black Box Theater in the school’s commons. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by clicking here or at the door.

Who is/are your inspiration(s)? Why? My mom and dad because they persuaded me to try out. Abby and Savannah for encouraging me to get involved.
What’s your favorite part of the experience of being in the production? The directors. They encourage us and keep us going even when we mess up.
What can audience members expect when they see the show? Fun, a few surprises, and a little craziness.

How did you get involved with the production? I love theater!
Have you been in any other theatrical productions? Yes, my favorite roles are Bauersfeld in Santa’s Zombie Apocalypse, Trinket in Elf the Musical, and Mort in Madagascar Jr
What do you most enjoy about being part of the production? Being able to make new friends and seeing other kids love theater too.
Who is/are your inspiration(s)? Why? My parents because they encourage me to try out and I’m so glad I did! My friends Savannah and Mave because they are always there for me and keep me going.
What’s your favorite part of the experience of being in the production? Getting to see how far we have all come over the last few months.

How did you get involved with the production? I was in Beauty and the Beast last year. I love the theater, singing and dancing so I wanted to do another school play.
Have you been in any other theatrical productions? Parker Middle School- Beauty and the Beast, Howell Community Theatre – camp shows
What do you most enjoy about being part of the production? Dancing the big dance numbers and how close you get with the cast.
Who is/are your inspiration(s)? Why? Theater – older kids in plays inspire me with how good they are and my older siblings.
