Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Diesel

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Diesel may be the most easy-going dog you will ever meet. This 6-year-old came to the shelter when his owner went into hospice. After an exam by the veterinarian, it was determined that he has hypothyroidism. This is not a death sentence but will need lifelong maintenance, which is not expensive. Since he started his medication, he is doing great.

Diesel loves people, both adults and kids, and enjoys other calm dogs. He rarely barks and has a good time chasing balls and taking walks. Diesel loves a good brushing, warm baths, and long naps in a comfy bed. It is time for Diesel to find his new forever family and live his best life.

Call ahead before coming to visit Diesel as he may be out for a sleepover.
