Brews & Chews set for May 18 to benefit American Brain Tumor Association

Brews & Chews — a chance to sip craft brews and chew on some great food — is set for noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Kensington MetroPark.  The event, which will also feature live music, games, prizes and fun photo opportunities, benefits the American Brain Tumor Association.

On hand will be Block Brewery Co., Brewery Vivant, Draught Horse Brewing Co., Eternity Brewing Co., Farmington Brewing Co., Great White Brewing, Ore Creek Cider, Reed City Brewing Co., River’s Edge Brewing Co., and Spicer’s Winery. Food will be available from The Fry Guy and Mr. Pit Master Barbecue.

Tasting tickets are available online at $35 (or $45 at the door), and include a pit glass and 12 drink tickets for 3-ounce pours; additional drink tickets are $3 each. Tickets for designated drivers and 13-20 year olds are $10 online or $15 at the door. The event is free for children under 12.

This is a dog-friendly event, so feel free to bring your pooch. There is a $10 Kensington Metropark entrance fee per vehicle for those without a Metropark Pass. No outside food or beverage is allowed.
