We are getting the No. 2 thing on the world’s greatest unofficial list of what the Livingston Post’s readers say our community needs: Hobby Lobby. Breathless reports today are spreading the word of the upcoming arrival of the arts & crafts giant in a strip mall that desperately needs an anchor, so that’s good, good news. Livingston County is finally getting a Hobby Lobby, right where we told you rumors had it going.
But what we really want to know is: WHERE IS OUR TRADER JOE’S?
After all, LIVINGSTON COUNTY WANTS A TRADER JOE’S, WAY MORE THAN IT WANTS A HOBBY LOBBY!
And how do we know that?
Trader Joe’s topped the list of what our readers think Livingston County needs when we asked last summer.
Trader Joe’s is a national chain of neighborhood grocery stores, which says it is committed to providing customers outstanding value in the form of the best quality products at the best everyday prices. Trader Joe’s says it has been “transforming grocery shopping into a welcoming journey full of discovery and fun” since 1967.
We helped get signatures on the MoveOn petition to the owner of Trader Joe’s. There are currently nearly 6,000 signatures on the petition. If you’d like to keep the Trader Joe’s hope alive, sign it. And then cross your fingers for a Trader Joe’s.
