The show WILL go on at CTH – “Lion, Witch and Wardrobe” will take the stage as soon as it can

//

In a time of endless cancellations, the Community Theatre of Howell announced today that the show WILL go on – as soon as the all-clear is given.

In a Facebook post and an email to patrons today, CTH announced that its spring youth musical, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” is only being postponed, not canceled. The show was deep in rehearsals and was scheduled to open this weekend.

The announcement was no doubt great news for the young people who had worked so hard to bring the show to the stage.

While announcing that it was shutting down all rehearsals and productions until at least May 3, CTH also made a point of saying it was NOT canceling the show. CTH wrote:

It is our firm intent to make sure the shows that are ready to go and those that have already been cast, will be first up when we are able to move forward. These changes may have implications for our 2020-21 Season and as soon as we have firm answers, we will post them!

“The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” has canceled their public performances that were scheduled for March 20-22, 2020.

The show will be performed as soon as we are able, but THE SHOW WILL GO ON!

CTH said that anyone who had already purchased a ticket for the show will be able to transfer their purchase to one of the new dates if they wish.

Complete information can be found on CTH’s website here.
