On Tuesday, July 10, the Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority’s Senior Softball team, the Howelers, took on the Northville Dawgs at Highlander Way Middle School baseball field. Even though the Howelers were defeated by the Dawgs with a final score of 18 to 9, both teams gave it their all and had a great time.

This softball league is for individuals 55 and older. The league plays each Tuesday between late May and early August and currently consists of Howell, Northville, and Novi. The league is looking to expand in the future and is always looking for new players. If you are interested in joining the team next year please contact Chris Galatis at 517-546-0693 ext. 7705.

Check out the next home game, a double header on July 31 at Highlander Way Middle School baseball field, 511 N. Highlander Way. The first game will begin at 10:00am with the Howelers playing the Northville Dawgs. Howell will then play the Novi Elder Cats at 11:20am.
