The board in control of the Fowlerville Family Fair made headlines earlier this month when it voted to NOT cancel this year’s fair, thus becoming one of the only summer events in the area to stay the course.

So, do Livingston County residents agree with the decision to not cancel the fair? We asked the question in a recent Livingston Post Facebook poll, and the results were overwhelming.

By a large margin, voters in our poll said the fair board made the right call.

More than a thousand votes were cast in the online poll, with 65 percent of people (659 votes) saying the fair should not have been canceled, while just 35 percent (362 votes) said the fair should be canceled.

It’s an online Facebook poll, so it’s far from scientific. We invite you to take it for what it’s worth!
