My Community Dental Centers, in partnership with the Livingston County Health Department, is opening a center in early January that will serve children and adults enrolled in Medicaid, including Healthy Kids Dental and MiChild, the Healthy Michigan Plan and low income uninsured persons. The center will also serve persons with private insurance. A community open house will be announced soon.MCDC currently operates 31 dental centers on behalf of local health departments throughout the state of Michigan. The organization focuses on quality care that is customized for each patient and offered in a “patients first” atmosphere with exceptional service. The Dental center will also utilize state of the art technology and dental equipment including electronic patient records, digital radiography, and digital technology for same day crowns. A full range of general dentistry services will be offered with oral exams, cleanings, fillings, tooth removal, crowns, partials and dentures.
Dr. Paymon Dorri, DDS, and the staff are excited to be joining the Livingston County Dental Center, located at 1335 Byron Rd. in Howell. Dr. Dorri has been with MCDC since June 2015, initially providing care in the Mt. Pleasant Center. His core professional values are strongly aligned with that of MCDC’s company values with an emphasis on comfort, patient satisfaction and clinical quality.
Dr. Dorri is a highly experienced kids dentist and cosmetic dentist. He is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School and has been recognized for his achievements as an inductee into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, in 2015.

The VINA Community Dental Center located in Brighton will continue to provide affordable dental care to qualified low-income, uninsured adults in Livingston County.
