HPS looking for input on student cell phones, technology use in school

Public forum on proposed guidelines set for Tuesday

The Howell Public Schools Coordinated School Health and Wellness Committee is looking for input from the district family’s as it discusses guidelines for the healthy use of technology in district schools. Under consideration are updates to the district’s cell phone policy, as well as its 1:1 device program.

The survey, which should take 5-10 minutes to complete, can be found here. Responses must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, May 11.

Additionally, the Coordinated School Health and Wellness Committee will host a public forum to discuss proposed guidelines beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, in the Howell High School Commons (adjacent to the auditorium), prior to the HHS Band concert.
