Please join us in wishing our parents, Craig and Deborah Nothnagel, a happy 50th wedding Anniversary on Friday, August 16, 2019!
Craig and Deborah met when they were 14 years old in Taylor, Mich., where they grew up.
The story is that Deb’s mother, Lonnie, mentioned seeing a very good-looking boy (Craig) walk by their house one afternoon. The very next day, Deborah, brought him home for brownies after school.
After graduation, Craig and Deborah went on to marry and have four children. They’ve lived in Detroit, Westland, Detroit, back to Westland again, and then settled in Howell approximately 24 years ago. Craig retired from General Motors and Deb retired from Ford Motor Co., always setting an example of how far hard work can take you.
Craig and Deborah now have 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way! They enjoy spending time with their family and friends making new memories. Their songs “Jack and Diane” by John Mellencamp, and “Through the Years” by Kenny Rogers denote the kind of relationship they really have.
We thank our parents for always displaying what true love is through your love for each other, in sickness and health and good times and bad, and for your love for us and our children. You are the real thing and we all hope to achieve what you have someday!
We love you! Congratulations on 50 years of marriage!
Craig II, Tracy, Melanie, Jarrett, Donnie, Beth, and all of your grandchildren
