I know it is hard to believe it it that time of year again. This week I encourage you to start writing your important holiday dates on the calendar. Call your family members or send out an e-mail to determine who is hosting the Thanksgiving meal. If it turns out you’re the host, try to involve other family members. People love to contribute and it will lighten the load for you. You don’t have to be a superhero.
This is a great time to go through your Thanksgiving decorations and decide on what you still love, and donate items that have remained in the container the past several years.

Once you’ve got a list of ideas and a plan for your meal. Take inventory of what you have and fill in the areas that are missing. Make sure to visit the grocery store early in the week if you can so you’ll have a better chance at the best selection.
Once the big day arrives, make sure to enjoy the day with your family. Once you’re gathered for the big feast you may even want to ask everyone at the table to say one thing they are grateful for this year. You’re bound to recall, or make, some wonderful memories in the process.
This is the last call for shoes. While you are going through your closets this fall, and come across shoes that you would like to donate – used or new, call or email me and we’ll make arrangements. I need them by the end of December. For more information please visit, ww.souls4souls.org.
