You can get all of your Christmas shopping done in one place this Saturday – and get some great holiday entertainment in the process.
Light of the World Academy in Pinckney is holding its Holiday Extravaganza from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, sponsored by Piano Lessons by Laura. The event takes place at Light of the World Academy, 550 E. Hamburg St., Pinckney. Admission is free.
All proceeds will go toward building a leveled library for the school.
More than 30 vendors will be on hand, offering a wide variety of great gifts in all price ranges. The Holiday Extravaganza will also feature:
- Secret Santa shopping for the kids. Plenty of very reasonably priced items will be on sale, and children can do all their holiday shopping for family members and friends with the assistance of some Santa helpers.
- Concessions.
- Free magic shows by Buddy Moorehouse at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- A craft area where kids will have the opportunity to decorate their own wrapping paper.
- Free hula-hoop dancing classes.
- A fashion show.
