Downtown Fowlerville’s popular Grille in the Ville restaurant is closing its doors today for good – in part because of the COVID-19 shutdown that has forced all restaurants to do takeout only.

In a message posted to its Facebook page today, the Grille’s owners, Kathy and Bill McConnell, and Steve Kresse,  wrote:

“Hello my friends, After eight wonderful years “The Grille” will be closing the doors permanently this is due in part from the virus, but other factors are involved. We want to thank everyone for their generous support, and friendship, all gift certificates WILL be honored and redeemed at a future date. Today Thursday March 20 is our closing date 7:00 pm.”
