Country superstar Luke Bryan is coming to Fowlerville on Sept. 18 for a wonderfully unusual concert – he’s performing at a family farm.
The concert is part of Bryan’s Farm Tour, which will see him performing six concerts at farms in the midwest. Fowlerville is one of the lucky locations.
The concert will take place at the Kubiak Family Farms, 10661 W. Sherwood Road. Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 11. For members of his fan club, tickets are available starting June 8. All the ticket information is available here.
Tickets are $56 in advance, $70 at the gate. Parking opens at 2 p.m., doors open at 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 6 p.m.
The Fowlerville show will be his only concert in Michigan.
Explaining why he’s doing the Farm Tour, Bryan said it goes back to his own rural roots.
“I think I am more excited about this year’s Farm Tour than any other year,” he said. “Growing up in a farming family in rural Georgia I know how hard farming can be even on a good year, and how hard those families work- from sun-up to sundown.
“After the challenges we have all faced in the last year with so many people losing their jobs, struggling to put food on their tables, food supply chains jeopardized, grocery stores struggling to keep food on the shelves in some areas, it is so apparent to me, and I hope everyone, why our farmers are truly the backbone of our country. They never stopped providing for all of us. Ever. It’s time to thank our farmers, once again. It’s going to mean even more to me this year.”
