The Arc Livingston’s Annual Charity Golf Classic is set for Friday, June 12, at Chemung Hills Golf Course in Howell. The event is open to all community members, golf enthusiasts, and local businesses who wish to participate.

This annual event brings together the Livingston County community for a day of golf, connection, and giving back, all in support of and raising money for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in our community.

Participants will enjoy a full day on the course including breakfast, lunch, scramble-format golf, on-course contests, games, prizes, dinner, and an awards ceremony. Early Bird registration pricing is available through May 1st for individual golfers and foursomes by clicking here, with registration remaining open afterward as space allows.

This year’s event offers a unique opportunity for the community to not just support inclusion, but to also see it in action.

A special highlight of this year’s event is the inclusion of athletes from the S.A.F.E. (Sports Are for Everyone) Golf Challenge, an adaptive sports program that creates opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in athletics alongside peers and volunteers in a supportive, inclusive environment. This year, S.A.F.E. athletes will be on-site during the Golf Classic, including fielding their own team on the course, giving attendees a meaningful opportunity to see firsthand the impact of inclusive sports.

“Having our S.A.F.E. golfers join us this year is a powerful reminder of why this event matters,” said Laura Sauer, Executive Director at The Arc Livingston. “It’s not just about a day of golf; it’s about creating opportunities for everyone to be included, supported, and valued in their community.”

Local businesses are welcome to get involved as event sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities provide meaningful community visibility while supporting a local cause that impacts families across Livingston County. If you are interested in supporting, contact Kasey Textor-Hilton at kasey@arclivingston.org or call the office at (517) 546-1228.
