The Livingston Post is proud to be sponsoring “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” at the Historic Howell Theater Sept. 18-20.

It’s the film of the first book by J.K. Rowling that created one of the most successful and memorable series ever, one beloved by kids and adults alike.

To celebrate, we’re waving our wand and giving away tickets to some lucky fans.

Sorting-hat-on-HarryTo win, leave us a comment about why you love Harry Potter and how many tickets (1-4) you’d like if your entry is a winner. We’ll be putting on our sorting hat and choosing winners at random, giving away tickets until we run out.

Tickets are good for whichever showing you’d like. Showtimes are 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18; Saturday, Sept. 19; and Sunday, Sept. 20.

Good luck!

  1. My Son and i have been able to share our love for the Harry potter collection since he was old enough to sit still! We love the magical world where anything is possible! We have stayed homeschooling this year and have actually named our homeschool after Gryffindor house!

  2. The stories we love so much do live in us forever! I loved reading the books myself, and then sharing them with my students year after year. And now my children are old enough to enjoy them too! I would appreciate 4 tickets please and thank you for the opportunity!

  3. I’ve been in love with the Harry Potter series since it came out and would love for a chance to see this with my family in our hometown theater! 16. I love that Harry Potter is the first book my mom read to me out loud when I was six years old, and that the books grew up with me. JK crafts (in my opinion,) the best fictional female character in history with Hermoine Granger and teaches us so much about love along the way.
