Two dead in crash at Livingston County airport

Two people were killed at approximately 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, when the single-engine, four-passenger Aero Commander plane they were in crashed as it attempted to take off from the Livingston County Spencer J. Hardy Airport in Howell Township.

Deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Howell Area Fire, and Livingston County EMS, responded to crash.

The FAA is leading the investigation, and there is no further information available at this time.
