State Sen. Lana Theis announced on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, the winners of her fall photo contest.

“I appreciate all who took the time to get out and photograph our beautiful part of Michigan,” said Theis, R-Brighton. “While there were numerous entries that captured many beautiful places and scenes located throughout the 22nd Senate District, our three winners stood above all. Congratulations to Terri Moore and Pam Ries for being selected as this year’s fall photo contest winners.”

Among the three winning photos is a still life of an apple, taken by Ries, of Howell, at the Markville Orchard.

Another winner included a photo of an ivy-covered door that was submitted by Moore, also of Howell.

Rounding out the top three is a photo of fishermen, which was also submitted by Ries.

Theis said the three photos will be put on display in her Lansing office for the public’s viewing.
