Students win Hartland Cromaine Library scholarships

Hartland Cromaine Library awarded two scholarships for 2017.

The Post-secondary Education Support $500 Scholarship Award winner is Isabella Wilson of Hartland High School. This scholarship was designed to recognize a graduating senior at Hartland Consolidated Schools who has a Cromaine Library Card in good standing and has a 3.0 or higher GPA.

The Jeanne Smith Teen Library Volunteer $500 Scholarship Award winner is Tyler Bye. This scholarship was designed to recognize a graduating senior who has volunteered at Cromaine over at least three sessions with an average of 15 hours per session.

Hartland’s Cromaine Library is a supporter of lifelong education. Cultivating a culture of continuing education beyond high school is fundamental to sustaining an environment consistent with the support of cultural enrichment in all its forms that is the legacy of the library’s founders, J. Robert Crouse and Henry Tremaine.
