St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Circus Soirée raising funds for emergency services

On Saturday, April 22, more than 400 business leaders and community members will gather under the Big Top at the 2017 St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Gala entitled Circus Soirée.

Just as this circus-themed evening prepares guests to be amazed by magical entertainers, carnival games and more, St. Joseph Mercy Livingston also has some remarkable investments under way at its Howell hospital and Brighton health center.

Gifts for the Circus Soirée will directly benefit the ER services patients in Livingston county rely on every day, from diagnosis and treatment for pneumonia and flu to heart attack, stroke  and other trauma. Last year, there were a combined 47,500 emergency room visits at both St. Joe’s Livingston locations. Funds raised will provide support for state-of-the-art technology and facility upgrades ensuring patients have access to expert and timely ER care, right in Livingston County.

These emergency services upgrades are part of St. Joe’s Livingston & Brighton Transformation Project, a $41 million investment to revolutionize health care in the county and better serve patients and families.

The Gala begins at 6 p.m. at Crystal Gardens with a cocktail reception, followed by a  dinner featuring  carnival- inspired flavors catered by Crystal Gardens. Guests will enjoy  a variety of magical entertainers and carnival games, as well as dancing to the sounds of Mark Randisi and the Motor City Horns.

This year’s Presenting Sponsor with a $10,000 gift is Caretel Inns of Brighton. Gold Sponsors, donating $7,500, include Anesthesia Associates of Ann Arbor, Emergency Physicians Medical Group (also supporting the gala with a $2,500 Bronze Sponsorship), Huron Valley Radiology, IHA and WellBridge of Brighton & Pinckney. Silver Sponsors, donating $5,000, include Advanced Medical Solutions, Lake Trust Credit Union (also supporting the gala with a $2,500 Ring Toss Sponsorship) and MediLodge of Howell & Livingston.
