LivCo Connected — a public safety initiative to strengthen communication, trust and outcomes between first responders and people with disabilities, medical conditions and unique communication or behavior needs — is hosting a safety enrollment event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at the Livingston Educational Service Agency, 1425 Grand River Ave. in Howell.
The event is designed to support those with disabilities, communication barriers, medical conditions, sensory needs, as well as other vulnerable populations.
At the event, families and caregivers can:

• Receive LivCo Connected identifying stickers for vehicles & residences
A subtle visual indicator for vehicles and/or residences that alerts first responders that additional awareness may be helpful.
• Submit a 911 address flag
Integrates with dispatch systems to notify first responders of relevant safety and communication considerations.
• Enroll in the STS (Simple Tracking System)
Voluntary registration allows families to provide critical, secure information (communication needs, triggers, medical considerations) that will be accessible to responders when it’s needed through LivCo.
• Connect with local resources and support
