Local Red Cross celebrating 100 years of service

The 100th Anniversary Open House will celebrate the Red Cross’ service in Livingston County from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at the Red Cross office, 1372 W. Grand River Ave. in Howell.

Livingston County Red Cross began by supporting our men during WWI and continues to evolve to address todays needs.

Displays will highlight service to Livingston County throughout the years, including its commitment to local disasters, supporting our need for blood replenishment, classes in health and safety, and supporting our Armed Forces.  A volunteer of 70 years will be recognized as well, and light refreshments will be served.
