The League of Women Voters of Livingston County is holding virtual forums for candidates for the 48th, 49th and 50th state House District seats, and the 22nd District Senate seat, in time for the absentee voter ballot arrival in late September.
In addition, the League has invited candidates for the Livingston County Board of Commissioners and the Brighton, Howell, Hartland, Pinckney and Fowlerville school districts to participate in candidate forums.
Recordings of the 2022 forums, once completed, will be available on the LWV website: lwvlivingstonco.org, our our YouTube Channel, and on the LWV’s Facebook page through January 2023. Our 2020 LWV Livingston County virtual forums, posted on-line, garnered over 3500 views, in addition to those who watched the events live-streamed. We anticipate significant public interest in 2022 general election videos.
The League will also launch its online voter guide www.VOTE411.org on Sept. 28, with candidate information, voter registration tools, polling place locations and other Election Day information. Candidates for all contested races in the 2022 general election have also been invited to participate in this informational online voter guide.
