Gleaners Community Food Bank will host the 15th annual Iron Chef Competition . Thursday, Aug. 8, at Bordine’s of Brighton.

The event raises funds for Livingston County food programs, including the Shared Harvest Pantry, which serves nearly 800 local households and 2,000 individuals each month.

This year’s event will see returning southeast Michigan Iron Chef champions from regional restaurants competing in a team head-to-head showdown, vying for the coveted Jack Berry Iron Chef Skillet.

Guests have the opportunity to judge chef creations, experience delicious food tastings from local vendors, participate in a silent auction and mingle with fellow community members who share their love for all things flavorful.

Event tickets are $65 and available at www.ironchefevent.org.
