Howell man joins Theis’ staff

Andrew Collier

State Sen. Lana Theis, R-Brighton, has hired Andrew Collier of Howell as her legislative director.

“We are excited to welcome Andrew to our team,” Theis said. “His eagerness to serve the people of the 22nd District will be of great asset as we tackle important issues like lowering auto insurance rates, and as we work to make our district and state the best place for families, talent, opportunity and jobs.”

Theis said Collier will staff the following committees for the senator: Regulatory Reform, Oversight, Economic and Small Business Development, and the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR), in addition to other policy and legislative work.

Collier joins Theis’ staff from the LaFontaine Automotive Group, where he served as a fixed operations specialist. He holds a degree in business administration with a minor in criminal justice from Saint Joseph’s College in Indiana.
