Howell has the most, Fowlerville has the least: A look at COVID-19 cases in Livingston County

A new dashboard released by the Livingston County Health Department gives a total breakdown of confirmed COVID-19 cases by age, gender and ZIP code.

As of April 14, Livingston County had 238 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with six deaths.

The data released by the Health Department shows that the 48843 ZIP code in Howell has the most cases, both in total number and per-capita, followed closely by the 48189 ZIP code in Whitmore Lake (which also goes into Washtenaw County).

On the other end of the spectrum, Fowlerville has the least amount of cases per capita, followed by Pinckney.

In looking at gender, 55.9 of the positive cases have been females, while 44.1 percent have been males.

As a whole, Livingston County is doing far better than the state average, which shows a per-capita rate of about 2.70 cases per 1,000 residents.
