Housing assistance waiting list open for persons with AIDS

/

The Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) Program is a federally-funded HOPWA program that assists persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH/A) in paying their rent. The TBRA program is operated by the Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA). TBRA may be able to help pay your rent if your household is income eligible, your chosen rental unit is in the Warren EMA including Oakland, Macomb, Lapeer, St. Clair, or Livingston counties, and your rental unit meets Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Quality Standards.

Applications to get on the waiting list for assistance will be accepted from March 1 through April 4, 2023. Applications will be mailed/emailed to clients from OLHSA’s Housing Case Managers.

Applications are also available at OLHSA’s Oakland County office at 196 Cesar E. Chavez Ave., Pontiac, Mich. 48343 and on OLHSA’s website.

Deadline for submittal is 4 p.m. April 4, 2023. Applications can be submitted in person at OLHSA’s main lobby reception desk between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or, if mailed, must be postmarked on or before deadline and sent to:
