Holocaust survivor keynoting Habitat luncheon

Habitat for Humanity of Livingston County will host “Arise & Shine: Winning Women 2019” on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, in the 2/42 Church’s main auditorium at 7526 Grand River Ave. in Brighton. Check in begins at 11:15 a.,m. and the program and luncheon begins promptly at noon.

This celebration of courage, strength and dignity recognizes incredible women who have overcome adversity to accomplish great things in their lives and communities. This year Habitat will honor keynote speaker Irene Miller, a Holocaust survivor, and Lisa Varney, a Habitat Partner Family single parent.

There is no charge to attend, but RSVPs are required. A goodwill donation to support Habitat’s home building program will be requested.
