Health department reports another COVID-19 death

After two months of the number of COVID-19-related deaths holding steady, the Livingston County Health Department is reporting a new death, bringing the total to 29.

The latest death is that of an elderly man with an underlying health condition. No other details about the death are known. Since the last COVID-19 death was reported on June 19, 2020, to today, Aug. 19, 2020, the number of cases has risen nearly 82 percent, from 429 to 779.
