Hamburg Township Library Passport for your summer reading fun!

“Have Book, Will Travel” summer reading kicking off at the Hamburg Township Library

Kids of all ages can come and travel the world at the Hamburg Township Library with books, films and programming from June 7 to Aug. 3 when they register with the Library and receive their Hamburg Township Library Passport. Registration begins at 7 p.m. Friday, June 7 at the kick-off party at the library.

Can’t make the party? Then sign-up anytime at the front desk starting on June 8. Passports are stamped for every 30 minutes of reading. Kids with Passports that have 10 hours or more stamped in it will be invited to the End Party on Aug. 7.

Special programming will be throughout the two-month event. There is a 50-cent fee/child for each of these programs. For the pre-school kids, there are craft days. Registration will be needed for these programs.

There will be movie nights for the PG set on Mondays starting at 6 p.m. and movie days for toddlers on Thursdays starting at 10 a.m. These are all free events and we encourage the kids to bring, blanket, pillow and munchies to be comfy for the fun.

The Hamburg Township Library Summer Reading Program and events are open to all kids. For more info go to www.hamburglibrary.org.
