“Since 1984 the Friends have sponsored many of the library’s programs and grown tenfold in membership,” said Marsha Luetjen, president of the Friends of the Brighton District Library. “The Friends’ mission remains the same, funding numerous and varied programs and events that would not exist without their funding. The Spring Book Sale and the ‘always open’ Friends Book Nook offers a large selection of paperbacks, hard cover books, children’s and teen books, DVDs, CDs, audio books and more. Stop by the sale and grab a bargain while supporting the library through the Friends.”
The Brighton District Library is located at 100 Library Drive. For information about the sale or becoming a member of the Friends of the Brighton Library, call (810) 229-6571 or visit brightonlibrary.info/FOL.
