Fowlerville student spends day in Lansing after winning Vaupel’s summer reading contest

State Rep. Hank Vaupel was joined on the House floor by the winner of his summer reading contest, Hunter Pisella of Fowlerville.

Hunter was joined by his parents, Ryan and Jamie Pisella, as well as Kreeger Elementary Social Studies teacher Ms. Jennifer Johnson.

Vaupel’s summer reading contest gave children across Livingston County the opportunity to join the representative in Lansing to be a “Rep for a Day.” Vaupel represents parts of Livingston County that include Fowlerville and the City of Howell.
