The Livingston Post is excited and proud to be the Major Media Sponsor of this year’s Tour de Livingston.

We’re so proud that we’re going to give some of our lucky readers free registration to the event. Winners will be chosen at random, and all you need to do to get in the running is fill out the entry form at the bottom of this post.

Winners will be notified via email on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018.

This year’s event — the 11th annual — is set for Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. All routes begin and end at the Mt. Brighton Ski Area, 4141 Bauer Road, Brighton. Breakfast will be ready for riders before they hit the road, and there will be hospitality stations along the routes, as well as a post-ride meal waiting for riders on their return.

This fully supported bike tour is one of the coolest events in the community, bringing hundreds of cyclists to the area, all of whom get treated to the beauty of Livingston County in the fall. There’s even an exclusive opportunity to ride the GM Proving Grounds.

If you’re not one of the lucky winners, early registration (before Sept. 5) is $40 for anyone over 13, and lunch is included. Kids 5-12 are $5, and those under 5 are free, but lunch is not included for either group. Additional lunch tickets can be purchased for $15. Commemorative T-shirts can be pre-ordered for $15 each. All registrations include a fully supported ride.
