  1. The closure of the restaurant on M-36 in Whitmore Lake comes as no surprise to me. Comical also because they have been trying to hire more staff for many months. This particular restaurant has been rife with issues ranging from a parking lot that looks like it’s been pummeled by meteors, not being open for breakfast due to staffing issues and equipment failures. This EYM company seems to be an absentee owner since they’re located in Texas, not wanting to set up shop here in the restaurants’ home state. Probably no surprise that no specific reason for the closing of all 26 restaurants since the owner is likely an uncaring individual and was too stubborn to come to an agreement with the corporate suits.
