The Livingston County Association of Realtors®(LCAR) presented its annual awards at its general membership meeting in July.
Sherri Garron, associate broker with Buckley Jolley Real Estate Team, was named the 2019 Realtor® of the Year.
Garron has been a member of the Livingston County Association of Realtors® since 2000; a member of the LCAR board of directors for four years; and currently serves as president. In addition, she serves on the Food Drive for Gleaners Food Bank, Strategic Planning, Policies, Finance, Professional Standards and Grievance Committees, Attainable Housing Taskforce, Young Professionals Network and is a Major Investor of RPAC.
During the presentation, Garron was described as dedicated to the real estate profession and an inspiration to others, Garron enjoys spending time with her family and friends, boating and traveling. Pam Zimmerlee, principal broker of Community Real Estate Services, was named the 2019 Livingston County Association of Realtors® Volunteer of the Year.
Zimmerlee has been a member of the Livingston County Association of Realtors® since 1993, and currently serves on the LCAR board of directors as past president, as well as on its education committee, policy review task force, grievance committee, attainable housing task force, and is a RPAC major investor.
During the presentation, Zimmerlee was described as a strong supporter of the Realtor® community, and volunteers her time and talents wherever needed. In addition to the Realtor® community, Zimmerlee volunteers at her church and facilitates the Welcome Center activities, bookkeeping duties and numerous other functions that allow others to shine. She enjoys baking special cakes and spending time with friends and family.
Cooper & Riesterer, PLC, was named the 2019 Livingston County Association of Realtors® Affiliate of the Year.

Cooper & Riesterer principals have over 34 years of experience, and during the presentation were described as coming from families rooted in the community that value community service and engagement. The Cooper & Riesterer firm has made significant contributions to the Livingston County Association of Realtors® with a personal sense of dedication, integrity and thoroughness that has proven invaluable to the LCAR membership. They have been instructors for many LCAR classes, served on the forms task force, affiliate committee, education committee and have been involved in the summer picnic.
