County Commissioner Dennis Dolan dies

There are few details at the moment about the death of Livingston County Commissioner Dennis Dolan. News of his death was confirmed on his grandson’s Facebook page.

“I’ll be forever grateful of this moment in time,” Dennis Dolan III posted on April 1, 2020. “I’m so happy you were able to meet Cole before going home to Grandma. I know you two are smiling down, watching us. I love you, Grandpa. Rest in Heaven.”

Dolan, who has served on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners since 2003, represented District 8, which includes Hamburg Township precincts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, and Green Oak Township Precinct 8. He served as vice-chair of the commission, as well as chair of the commission’s construction committee, and vice chair of the public safety and infrastructure and development committee.
