Colasanti’s, Snooks Butcher Shop opening Friday

The wait is over.

Colasanti’s Gourmet Market Express and Snooks Butcher Shoppe is opening in the old Middletown Market location on Grand River Avenue in Genoa Township at 9 a.m. Friday, May 8.

Anyone who’s shopped at the wildly popular Colasanti’s in Highland will be able to get a lot of the same diverse and specialty items. The express location is a quarter the size of the original Colasanti’s, and while there will be the market and butcher shop, there won’t be a greenhouse, and while there will be baked goods, the store will not have the full-fledged bakery that operates in the larger store.
