Twilight in the Garden, LACASA’s midsummer fundraising garden party, is set for Saturday, July 22, from 6 p.m. until twilight. This year’s event is hosted by Linda and Dale Bader of Bader Acres in Howell.

LACASA Center is a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive services for victims of child abuse and interpersonal violence. All proceeds from Twilight in the Garden stay local and benefit vulnerable children and adults from Livingston County.

Guests at Twilight in the Garden sip on international wines and cool brews, nibble on delicious food, roam colorful waterside gardens, and enjoy sizzling live music. Local restaurants and chefs participate in the event’s Taste of Twilight competition, where awards are given for the night’s best culinary offerings. Two shops, the Twilight Treats market and the Birdhouse Coop, offer guests a chance to browse for unique items. The Pewter Cup cigar & spirits bar is a casual place for guests to hang out, sip on signature cocktails, and participate in friendly lawn games to win prizes.

Twilight in the Garden tickets are $75, which includes wine, beer, food and all-night-long entertainment. Parking is free.

Tickets are available at local retail outlets, garden centers, LACASA, and online at lacasacenter.org. For more information, call LACASA at (517) 548-1350.
