Buffalo Wild Wings canceled a Livingston County Republican Party viewing event for President Donald Trump’s Minneapolis rally this evening, scheduled for the BWW location at 900 S. Latson Road in Howell, after receiving a “number of complaints,” according to an email that went out from GOP chair Meghan Reckling this afternoon.
This is Trump’s first rally since he’s become ensnared in the impeachment inquiry.
“Join other Keep America Great loving patriots,” read the Facebook invite to the event, which was also going to sell Trump 2020 merchandise.
“(Buffalo Wild Wings) Corporate has canceled our event and we are no longer welcome to use the premises tonight,” Reckling wrote in the cancellation email. “We are unable to find a new location at this time.”
Reckling went on: “We are not surprised that those who do not agree with the President and his agenda would use their extreme tactics to bully businesses and try to limit our right to assemble.
“Regardless of their extreme tactics, we will continue our fight to win big here in Livingston County next fall.”
Reckling encouraged Republicans who wished to contact Buffalo Wild Wings Corporate to express their thoughts on the cancellation.
