Brighton library celebrating Harry Potter’s 20th anniversary

The boy who lived returns! Celebrate Harry Potter’s Birthday at our birthday bash! Attend classes, discover your wand magic, find magical creatures, and more as magic engulfs the Brighton District Library. The 20th anniversary party for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone takes off 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3.

Attend potions class, find magical creatures, test your spell work in wizarding duels, learn about magical and interesting plants in Herbology class, test out your Wingardium Leviosa skills in Charms class, hunt down magical creatures in a Care of Magical Creatures scavenger hunt, discover your wand match, prove your knowledge in our History of Magic class with Harry Potter trivia hosted by iSmart Trivia, wizarding photo opportunities are many, learn a little about your future in our Divination class, then wrap up your evening with a tasty cup of Butterbeer.
