Brighton High School students test positive for COVID-19

Families in the Brighton Area Schools District were informed on Sept. 18, 2020, that two Brighton High School students had tested positive for COVID-19, and anyone who may have been exposed to or had close contact have been contacted by email.

According to the message, the students have been directed by the Livingston County Health Department to isolate.

The message went on to say: “Because the student does not use school transportation, we are able to limit the scope of exposure to Brighton High School.”

“We are committed to being transparent about how we address situations such as this,” the message said.
