Book lovers young and old are invited to the Friends’ of the Brighton District Library mini pop-up book sale 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, and 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21.

Just in time for the holidays, the sale offers gently used books and media items all at reduced prices. Whether it’s current, classics, collectible, or nostalgic, the sale offers something for many tastes and styles with pricing from 50 cents to a dollar.

Money from the book sale helps to support Brighton Library programs, events, services, and resources for the community to use and take part in.  “With continued support from our members, we look forward to helping the Library shine and meet the demands of a forward growing library. Our volunteers are the power behind our successful events and maintaining sales of our used books,” said Marsha Luetjen, President of the Friends of the Brighton District Library.

The November book sale will take place at the Brighton District Library, 100 Library Drive. For information about the sale or becoming a member of the Friends of the Brighton Library, call (810) 229-6571 or visit
