The first annual Brighton Boots and Brews Pub Crawl is set for noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, in downtown Brighton, right after the Veterans Day Parade, which begins at 11 a.m. The organizer is a local Livingston County veteran non-profit called VETLIFE.
“Boots and Brews is a fun and new way for the public to assist in fundraising for future veteran resource events in our wonderful community,” said Joe Riker, vice president of VETLIFE.
By purchasing tickets, attendees — who are encouraged to wear boots or patriotic outfits — will have the chance to enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie, while enjoying a variety of bars and discounted drinks/food throughout downtown Brighton. Funds raised go to benefit veteran families.
“We’re thankful for the community we’ve already received,” said Cortnie Parish, VETLIFE president. “We have nine downtown bars currently on board that are excited for the event. The Brighton Chamber of Commerce has been a great asset, and KNE REalty 360 really stepped up as our event sponsor.”
Tickets are on sale now at https://www.vetlifetoday.org/events, and you can visit the event on Facebook.
