12th annual matching event raises nearly a quarter of a million dollars for county United Way

Donations to the Livingston County United Way on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, raised a total of $246,500, pending final audit process. Donations from the community were matched by generous sponsors, who made the day possible!

The 12th Annual Matching Money was a first for Anne Rennie, Livingston County United Way’s new executive director.

“I was truly humbled, but not surprised at the outpouring of support of our donors,” Rennie said. “The experience just reinforces how proud I am of our staff, board, volunteers and members of the community.”

All donations raised from Matching Money Monday go directly to basic needs programs throughout the year that support local families struggling to put food on their tables, keep the lights and heat on, and keep a roof over their heads.
