Special screening of “Elf” benefits LACASA kids

The Livingston Post is excited to announce that it is teaming up with the Historic Howell Theater for a wonderful family friendly event to benefit LACASA’s Starry Night Toy Drive.

A special showing of “Elf” is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at the Howell Theater. Admission is a new, unwrapped gift item, or $10 per person. All donations go to LACASA, which works with victims of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault, to make the holidays brighter for the children in the shelter.

What LACASA kids need:

• Arts and crafts kits

• Remote control toys

• Infant/toddler toys and books

• Board games

• Card games

• Movies

• Books

• Visa or department store cards for pre-teens and teens.

If you can’t make it to this special screening of “Elf,” but you’d like to make the holidays a bit brighter for LACASA kids, the Historic Howell Theater has generously arranged to collect donations dropped off at the theater (located at 325 E. Grand River Ave., in the heart of downtown Howell) until Dec. 7.
