Online auction for Michigan tickets at annual VINA Tailgate event ends Sept. 30

VINA’s annual fundraiser is adding a new opportunity for donors and bidders this year. A mini online auction containing three sets of Michigan tickets kicks off the excitement a month before the live Tailgate on Oct. 27. Bidding for these tickets is online only, open now and closing at 5 p.m. on Sept. 30.

There are three sets of tickets available to bidders to see the Wolverines play at the Big House this year. The tickets are for the following games:

  • Northwestern at Michigan on Oct. 23, 2021
  • Indiana at Michigan on Nov. 6, 2021
  • Ohio State at Michigan on Nov. 27, 2021

Each game has four tickets up for auction. Tickets to see Michigan play in Ann Arbor are getting more and more difficult to find this year, as the Wolverines started off their season with three wins.

The mini auction is a part of VINA’s signature Tailgate fundraiser where Michigan and Michigan State fans compete to see which fanbase can raise more money for the nonprofit clinic. Bidders can designate their “team” to be Michigan, Michigan State or Neutral when bidding on the Michigan tickets.

Sponsorships and tickets to the in-person Tailgate are available at vina.cbo.io or by bringing a check or cash to VINA’s office at 400 E. Grand River Ave in Brighton. Tickets are $45 per person and sponsorships range from $100 to $5,000. The Tailgate will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 5:30 pm at Crystal Gardens in Howell.

VINA Community Dental Center was established in 2008 to provide basic dental care to low-income, uninsured adults in Livingston County, an underserved group that traditionally has limited access to this important aspect of health care. VINA, which stands for Vision, Integrity, Need, Action, serves as a “dental home” to over 2,000 people in our community. The Tailgate is VINA’s largest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds support the clinic and patients. VINA’s mission is to restore and spread smiles in our community by providing affordable dental care and education to low-income, uninsured Livingston County residents.
